Nicholas James Gorecki “Nick”
Called home to the Lord on January 24, 2024, age 25. Precious son of Jeffrey and Diana (nee Hegyi) Gorecki. Beloved brother of Alexander Gorecki and Ken (Arpine Sokratian) LeBlanc. Cherished grandson of James and the late Judith Hegyi, Steven and Betsy Gorecki and Judith and Michael Cullen-Fitzpatrick.
Special nephew of Michael Hegyi (Gary Spaeth), Jeannette (Adam) Osborn, Andy Gorecki and Eric (Mary) Gorecki. Cousin of Savannah and Joshua Osborn and Zeke and Roxy Gorecki. He was joyfully received in Heaven by his grandma Judy and his great grandparents, who he enjoyed visiting and listening to stories, Al and Ida “Tootie” Gorecki. Nick had an amazing group of friends, both local and abroad, he stayed connected with throughout the years through online gaming. Nick had his own language with them and a collection of catch phrases. His friends will continue to honor him. His group of friends “The Fellers” have decided to pledge to keep his memory alive by staying together forever. “The Fellers” meant the world to Nick and he loved you all very much, you were a huge part of his life.
Nick attended St. Vincent Palotti Catholic School and Mary Queen of Saints Catholic School. Nick was in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with Troop 595, St. Rita’s Catholic Church. He then graduated with honors in 2016 from West Allis Central. He attended MSOE which led to a career at Dynamic Ratings in Sussex as a computer software engineer. Nick was a member of the Triangle Fraternity at MSOE.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM, with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM.
Nick loved his dogs Dino, Diva and Princess, memorials appreciated to the Humane Society.
