Nannette M. Gumieny, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2024 at the age of 90.

Nannette M. Gumieny, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2024 at the age of 90.
Loving mother of Jason (Erica) Gumieny. Beloved Grandmother of Cade Gumieny, Carly Gumieny, Robert (Rachel) Woodliff, Heather (Brian) Halvensleben, Jeannette Woodliff, Kayla (Jayd) Phelps, and Jacob Woodliff. Cherished great-grandmother of Kendrick, Kamron, Ethan, Evelyn, Henry and Bennett.
Nannette is further survived by many families and friends.
Preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerome; her dear son, Paul, brother Edward, sister Delores and her parents Anna and Julius.
Nannette loved serving in various waitressing roles over her lifetime, and established lifelong friendships with those she worked with, especially with Cindy and the family at Layton Place.
Upon retirement, Nannette and Jerry spent many happy years in Las Vegas with wonderful friends, especially with their dear neighbors and friends, Elaine and Dennis.
Nannette loved dogs – especially her beloved Poncho and sweet Bailey.
The family wants to thank the care team at Vitas Health Care and Tudor Oaks for all of the love and support given to Nannette and her family.

Visitation will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM. Service 10:30 AM on Saturday June 22, 2024. Interment to follow.

To Nannette's family, my deepest sympathy at the loss of your Mom, Grandmother, and all who knew and loved her. She was fun to be with and I remember good times with her at Layton Place in Greenfield WI. I think we worked there together for 3 or 4 years. Jason, I remember you and your brother visiting there at times. So, looking back about almost 50 years. May you celebrate her life with good memories and much love. Sister Cindy Kaye, RSM
