Harmant Kaur Sandhawalia

Harmant Kaur Sandhawalia, age 92, passed away on Saturday, January 16th, 2021. After months of failing health, she departed peacefully at her home in Menomonee Falls, WI. She was a devoted wife to Ujjagar Singh Sandhawalia, who preceded her in death in 2008. A loving mother to her sons, the late Karnail Singh Sandhawalia, the late Joginder Singh Sandhawalia, Inderjeet Singh Sandhawalia, and Harbhajan Singh Sandhawalia, and daughters Gurjeet Kaur Tung, Inder Raj Kaur Virk, and Harminder Kaur Cheema. Adoring grandmother and great grandmother.

Harmant Kaur was born and raised in Sahowal, Pakistan. She got married in 1943 and later migrated to India with her husband. They settled in Panipat and raised seven children together. She taught by example and instilled in her children strong values that will continue to pass down through generations.

She was a devout Sikh and taught her family about the values of Sikhism. She radiated with passion whenever she prayed and always encouraged her family to participate so she could share the joy that it brought her.

Harmant Kaur Sandhawalia lived a blessed life. She will be missed dearly by all whose lives she touched.
