Found his peace on February 4, 2021, at age 54. Loving son of the late John and the late Carol. Dear brother of Johnny Sipek, Stephen (Mary) Sipek, Raymond (Laurie) Sipek and Elizabeth (Greg) Martin. Devoted soulmate to his fiancee Jean Stanley. Caring uncle of Michael and Anna Sipek. Also loved by his loyal companion Remy, other family members and friends.
Pete went to St. Jude grade school and then went on to graduate from Wauwatosa West High School in 1984. He worked at Central File for 15 years until it was sold in 2017. This was very hard on him as he considered the staff as his second family.
He loved hunting and fishing with his brothers, and took many trips with friends too! Reeling in that 50” Musky!! Pete was the creator of Stupid Fest, which was a wild and crazy outdoor party filled with 100’s of friends. Pete was a “rocker dude,” jamming to band like Metallica, Kiss, Sammy Hagar and more.
Pete and Jean were friends since high school and found each others love in 2017. They were true soulmates and “finally found the love of a lifetime.” Engaged in June of 2020, they planned to marry in 2021.
Pete was the most caring, giving kind hearted man! Sadly, this was cut short. He was diagnosed December 28, 2018, with pancreatic cancer. He was given four to six months to live with conventional medicine. This didn’t sit well with him, so he began integrative cancer treatment with New Hope Unlimited in San Luis, Mexico. He was doing great after the first trip, so doctors advised he go back. He made a total of three trips to Mexico, but began having complications that tired his body out. He fought hard and never gave up. He was an inspiration to all. He loved life. And he loved and adored his fiancee Jean, his brothers, family, and his many, many friends, and of course, his beloved fur baby Remy.
The family would like to thank The Froedtert Cancer Center, his team of doctors, therapists and staff who helped ease his pain throughout his journey. Also, special thanks to the staff at Lawlis Family Hospice and Horizon Hospice.
