(Nee Selle) Born to eternal life on October 2, 2021, at the age of 102. Loving mother of John (Lesa) Seefeld and Ellen (Tom Croasdaile) Driscoll, and grandmother of Megan St. Germain, Eric and Steven Seefeld, and James and Jack Driscoll. Great-grandchildren Zander St. Germain, JP Jilly and Jameson Croasdaile, Garrett and Claire Pakish, Indie Seefeld, and Story Durnil loved her as GG. Preceded in death by husband William Seefeld and daughter Cynthia Seefeld. Treasured by many nieces and nephews, residents and staff of the Luther Manor Community where she happily resided for 12 years. She will be greatly missed.

 

Millie proudly served as 1st Lt. in the Army Nurse Corps in WWII as an RN. She continued her nursing career in various locations until her retirement in 1985. She was active for years in LWML at Covenant Lutheran Church, Economy Center on Burleigh, and volunteering at Luther Manor.

 

Gathering at Luther Manor – Faith and Education Building, 4545 North 92nd Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, on Saturday October 23, 2021, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Memorial service at 11:00 AM.

Everyone's favorite Aunt. Always caring and gentle. Wanting to know what was going on in your life. We looked forward to the handwritten notes on holidays and special occasions. Our last visit was fall 2019. She was inspiration to all. We will miss her smile. When I was 10 years old, I got to spend a week in Milwaukee with John and Cindy (Ellen was very young). Millie left an impression on me that lasted a live time on what grace looks like. I can still feel the hug. What a special lady!

It was my honor to meet Millie a few years ago when I served as hospice chaplain. She was a vibrant, faith filled individual then, and as time moved ahead, extended herself to be a vital part of the Terrace Bible Study. She was gentle and loving, yet clear and firm about her life purpose as a child of God. Her example brought joy and goodness into this world, and I thank God for her. I pray God's peace for your family.
