Michaeline (Dagis) Nabrzyski
Mickey (Jean) passed away at home as she wished at the age of 99. She is survived by her daughters: Karen Benson and Suzan (Jeff) Dyer; sister Julie Terrien; numerous nieces and nephews and a few dear close friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman; son Michael John; brothers Albert and Charlie and sister Adele.
Mickey was proud that she grew up during the Great Depression and World War II. This experience helped her through many obstacles in her long life. She started her work life at Abbot Laboratories and retired from the Milwaukee Post Office. During her long retirement she volunteered and traveled.
Mickey was quite the character and often made people around her laugh and provided us with stories to tell. She spoke her mind and held her faith close.
Family attended a private burial and a Memorial Dinner will be held close to what would have been her 100th birthday.
After a long life, well lived please enjoy my edited quote by Dr. Seuss: “Let’s not cry because it’s over, but smile because it happened.”
