Michael P. Kelly was born on January 19, 2022 to his heavenly home.
He was born on November 8, 1948 to Richard and Charlotte Kelly in Milwaukee, WI. He was the oldest of five children, his siblings are Karen (Dean) Diesner, Susan Kelly, Robin Kelly, and David (Mary) Kelly.
He married Lillian Patricia Kelly on May 18, 1968. Together they had two sons, Mark Patrick (Kathryn) and Scott Michael. He was the proud and loving grandpa of Andrew Kelly and Elizabeth Kelly. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, additional family, and friends.
Mike spent four years in the Navy as a communications operator on P2 and P3 anti-submarine planes.
Mike worked as a clerk at the Milwaukee FBI office. After his father died, Mike decided to change course and advance his education. After two and half years, he graduated from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science degree.
In March 1978 he started an insurance agency with American Family. On March 30, 2018 he retired after 40 successful years in business.
Mike served as President of Council at House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Franklin, WI. Later, he served as zone leader at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI.
A meaningful quote he took to heart, “If you have made just one person’s life lighter, your life was worth living.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin on January 28, 2022. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, service to follow.
