Michael Gudlin, Jr.

Born to Eternal Life Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Meister). Loving father of Nancy (Paul) Michalek, Terry and Bruce (Doreen) Gudlin. Special grandfather of Michelle, Adam, Rebecca, Shawn and Shannon. Brother-in-law of MaryAnn Gudlin, Marie (Warren) Quam, Carl (Betty) Meister, Paul (Barb) Mesiter, Pauline (Richard) Lawrence and Esther (Jim) Bernecker. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; Michael, Sr. and Anastasia (nee Obras), brothers; John, Joseph (the late Marge) Gudlin and sister Mildred (the late Joe) Gibson. Visitation at WOODLAWN EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2217 South 99th Street, West Allis, Monday, March 2, 9:00-10:00 AM. Funeral Service 10:00 AM. Burial at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or the family are appreciated. Mike was a proud veteran of U.S. Marine Corp, having served during WWII earning a Purple Heart. He was a member of CFU Lodge #1994, American Legion Post #203 and Woodlawn E. Lutheran Church Men's Club. He retired from U.S. Postal Service with over 39 years of service.
