Mary Louise Hansen

(Nee Rasmussen) Was carried away to eternal peace and rest, on Monday, August 23, 2021, age 82, after a lingering illness. Loving wife of Thomas for 57 years. Cherished mother of Dawn (Dan) Becker, Erik (Melissa) Hansen, and Kristina (Daniel Jr.) Mejia. Further survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her son, Timothy, siblings Esther Kirchstein and brother, Daniel Rasmussen, and her parents, Henry and Leonora.

Mary was born in Milwaukee, on November 4, 1938. She attended 18th St. School, Peckham Jr. High, and North Division High School. Early in her life, she entrusted her life to the Lord Jesus Christ and as a teen, she went on a summer missionary trip to Mexico with a youth ministry. She loved music and played piano. A high point in her life was a trip with Tom to Israel in 2005.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Monday, August 30, 2021, 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM. Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Burial will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in Watertown, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 11:00 AM.

She touched many hearts and lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
