Mary Hill-Thomas was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on January 15, 1935 to the union of Homer and Johnnie Adams. She was the oldest of three siblings Daisy Hill and Rueben Hill who have both preceded her in death. She grew up in Kansas and migrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she worked as a cook and factory worker at Koss Industries before retiring. She united with then Saint Mary’s Missionary Baptist Church which is now Lamb of God Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Christopher R. Boston. She loved her church where she was a faithful usher and later serving on the nurses guild. until her health began to fail. Mary and Daisy decided they would migrate to Las Vegas Nevada in 2001 and that is where she fell for her dear Mr. Chester, They were married in April of 2009. Although she did not have children she cherished her nieces and nephews great-nieces and great-nephews. She leaves a host of special people especially her sister in laws, Carolyn and Annie along with her God son and his wife, Michael and Debra Hester.
