(Nee Haeger) Our angel on earth is now an angel in Heaven. Mary Ann left our world on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Albert, who will miss her like no other. Also survived by her adoring children Julia (Scott) Lobotzke, Linda Picard, Cynthia (Tom) Sciano and Ken (Debbie) Hirn. Best Nana in the world to James (Jamie) Goll, Adrianna and Shawna Picard, Tommy Sciano, Emily and Jake Hirn, and Brian Lobotzke; as well as "GG" to Dominic and Devin Goll. Born November 20, 1939 to Louis and Viola Haeger, she also leaves behind her sister Shirley (Joseph) Savage and brother Robert (Margaret) Haeger, sister-in-law Janice (the late Michael) Brasile, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by her dog Charlie. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Alfred Hildebrandt, brother Earl and sister-in-law Virginia.Among the lives she has touched are the thousands of children whose lives she impacted over the years since she and her husband founded North Central Little League 38 years ago. She continued to work to the end of her life for and with the Little League to ensure that every child who wanted to play, could. She leaves her beloved baseball "family" to carry on her love of the game and her wish to leave the world a better place. A true friend to everyone she encountered, she is further survived by countless extended family and friends. Everyone was "family" to Mary Ann. She lived her life in service to others above self and inspired those who she came in contact with by her self-lessness, generosity and beautiful smile. All who knew her called her "Mom".Please join the family to celebrate her life at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 17, at 1-3PM. A Memorial Service will be at 3PM. Memorials can be made in her honor to North Central Little League, The Humane Society and/or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.Mary Ann's love of people and animals is her legacy to us all.
