Passed into Eternal Life on December 8, 2016, at age 34. Beloved son of Colleen Golden and Marc Brown. He received his formal education within the Private and Public School Systems attending Garden Holmes Lutheran, Messmer High, and finally Rufus King. Marques accepted Christ as his savior at an early age and was confirmed at Garden Holmes Lutheran Church in eighth grade. He joined the United States Navy in 2000 and served for two years. He enjoyed family, sports (Greenbay Packers), his children, barbecuing, detailing cars, mentoring, and working out. Marques was our rock, he kept us all connected and although this is hard for us to accept, let us remember how he lived his life! Marques was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Guy and Elaine Golden; and paternal grandparents, Lorraine and Leotis Brown and Sidney Johnson. Marques J. Brown departed this life on December 8, 2016. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, father, grandmother, Mary Johnson (Nanny); two daughters, Myah Brown and Marissa Fayne; his godchildren, Mykell and Michaela Golden; two sisters, Isabella Brown of Milwaukee and Lilly Sierra of Orlando, Florida; two brothers, Isaiah Brown of Milwaukee and Ronjé Horton of Houston, Texas; special friend, Semeca Gray; special cousin, Michael Golden; aunts, April and Lisa Mullins, Maureen Golden, Ardell Ringquist; two uncles, Richard Golden of Milwaukee and Lee Odis Brown, Jr.; first set of godparents, Ceria Lasley and Lee Odis Brown, Jr.; second set of godparents, Essie Hynes and Roberto Borges; and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Additional visitation will be at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, 541 West Concordia Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, on Friday, December 16, 2016,  from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM. Service to follow at 11:00 AM.

Entombment at Graceland Cemetery to follow.
