(Nee Luckmann) found peace Sunday October 19, 2014 at the age of 87. She leaves the love of her life, Al, sons Doug (Cindy) and Dave, grandchildren Nate (Lindsay), Steven, Katie, Stephanie (Bill) and Samantha, great-grandchildren Sydney and Isla, and, of course, granddogs Willis, Brett, Muddy and Manny.
Marilyn loved spending time with her family and friends, especially if it involved traveling to Florida, golfing, shopping or playing cards. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and never met anyone that she couldn't turn into her best friend in a matter of minutes. There's no doubt that Marilyn was the best wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma and friend ever! She will be sorely missed, but she'll be excited to meet up with her parents and brother, probably sharing her famous schaum tortes and chex mix.
In lieu of flowers memorials in Marilyn's name to the Leukemia Foundation would be appreciated. A special thanks to the Cancer Care units at West Allis Memorial, St. Luke's Hospital and Synergy Home Care.
Memorial gathering at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, Saturday, October 25, from 2:00-4:00 PM. Memorial Service 4:00 PM. Interment Highland Memorial.
