Margarette Lee Van Kohn “Maggie”

Born in Roanoke, VA. Long time resident of Wauwatosa. Went home in peace to God's loving arms, on March 20, 2016, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Earl Logan Van Kohn. Cherished mother of the late Garie (the late James) Dewey, Karen (Deacon Dean) Collins, Kristie (Mark) Bonney and Cindy Van Kohn. Devoted grandmother of Michelle (Asad) Rahbar, Megan (Mike) Tylock, Emily Collins, Laura (Matthew) Sweeney, Rebecca (Daniel) Hahn, Amanda Bonney, Jessica Bonney, Grayson Steinhaus and Lexi Steinhaus. Treasured great grandmother of Hayley and Dane Hahn, Gabe Steinhaus, Sophie Rahbar and Lyla Sweeney. Dearly loved by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1717 Church Street, Wauwatosa, Friday, April 1, 10-12 Noon. Service 12 Noon, with a reception to follow. Entombment Wisconsin Memorial Saturday, April 2, 10 AM. Memorials appreciated to the MAAC Fund or the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

Margarette was a member of the Suburban Women's Club of Wauwatosa, Heritage Antique Club, Craft Club and Wauwatosa Historical Society. She volunteered at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church where she served on the Altar Guild for many years.
