(nee Zeman), affectionately known as Marge, departed this world on May 4th, 2024, in the serene embrace of Door County at the age of 61. She was born on February 1st, 1963, to Harriet (nee Dobrogowski) and Edward Zeman in Milwaukee, WI.
Marge’s journey through life was marked by a tapestry of experiences that shaped her into the remarkable woman she was.
Marge’s early years were spent at Saint Hedwig Grade School and Bartlett Ave Grade School followed by Riverside High School, class of 1981 graduate. Following her passion, she pursued an associates degree in Cosmetology at MATC, a field in which she would excel and leave a lasting impression on those she touched. On October 2nd, 1993 she married the love of her life Dale Krieger.
In her circle of family and friends, Marge was a beacon of love and strength. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Harriet and Edward, but her legacy lives on through her devoted husband, Dale; cherished daughter, Sam (Quinn) Rosen; loving step-daughters, Megan (Jon) Hanusa, Heather (Sean) Reilly, and Erin Krieger; and the grandchildren who brought boundless joy into her life: Paige, Mia and Miles Hanusa, Emma, Hannah and Clara Reilly. Marge is also survived by her siblings, Judi (Charles) Tandlund and Michael (Debbie Marx) Zeman, nephew Jeremy Tandlund, as well as her dearest friend, Robbie Kirby. Her furbabies, Sadie and Izzy.
Margaret brought light into every room she entered. Her strength and resilience were unwavering, inspiring all who had the privilege of crossing her path. Whether tending to her beloved plants, showcasing her talent in crocheting, dominating on the tennis court, or indulging in her passions for Disney and fashion, Marge approached life with an eclectic fervor that was uniquely her own.
Beyond her hobbies, Marge’s generosity knew no bounds. She was the cornerstone of support for her loved ones, offering a listening ear, comforting hugs, and unwavering encouragement. Her caring nature extended to the smallest details, from ensuring everyone’s safety during their commute to forecasting the weather for their journeys ahead.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin, on Thursday, May 16th, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:45 PM, followed by a Vigil at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
