Margaret Bast

Found peace Thursday November 26th, 2009 at age 89. Beloved wife of the late Donald P. Bast. Loving mother of Mary (Mike) Dodson, Joan (Chuck) Ford and Steven (Heidi) Bast. Loving grandmother of Shawn, Melissa, Michael, Monica, Adrienne and Nathanial. Proud great-grandmother of Shane, Danica, JoDean, Kale and Pearl. Margaret was a member of the National Association of Social Workers, former board member of St. Olaf College, former board member of Milwaukee Birthright, member of the Books for Kids advisory board for the Next Door Foundation, 20 year member of Our Savior's Choir, member of Salt & Pepper Couples Club, and member of Lutheran Women's Organization. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 29 from 4-7PM. Additional visitation on Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3022 W. Wisconsin Ave., at 10:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM. Private burial to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery. Memorials appreciated to Our Savior's Foundation, Next Door Foundation or Hartung Park Community Association.
