Luis “Louie” Martinez

Passed away peacefully Monday, February 15, 2016. Age 80. Preceded in death by his beloved "Schatzie" Gisela; his parents, Jose and Francesca Martinez, his brothers Alberto, Oscar (the late Diane) and Delia Wellstein. Loving dad of Vincent, Danny and Christina Martinez. Proud grandpa of Trevor, Thomas, Sean and Michael. Dear brother in law of Frank Wellstein. Special cousin of Mary Lou, Diana and Tito. Fond friend of Donna. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Saturday, February 20, from 9AM to 11:45AM. Funeral Service at 12PM. Procession to Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Louie retired from Wisconsin Electric after more than 40 years of service. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Third Armed Division Band. Louie was a gifted musician starting with his father's orchestra and continued to play with renowned ensembles throughout the greater Milwaukee Area.
