Mickey is survived by her husband of 73 years, Anthony "Tony", Stoughton, WI; children Karen (Mike) Okonek, Hartford, WI; Judy Whalen (Greg Hofmeister), Brooklyn, WI; Jim (Patty) Krafcheck, Fort Wayne, IN; and Steve (Lori) Krafcheck, Oconomowoc, WI, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Mickey was born June 12, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI to parents Margaret and Ferdinand Goessner. Tony and Mickey lived in Milwaukee and then West Allis where they raised their four children. Mickey retired from Sears after working there for 15 years. In her later years, Mickey lived at The Heights Assisted Living in Evansville and then Azura Memory Care in Stoughton.
Her children remember Mickey as a kind and gentle mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
