Lucille Kruger

(Nee Kluczny) Died peacefully on April 28, 2012, at the age of 105. Born in Wilno, MN on July 4, 1906. Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Elizabeth Kluczny, brothers Raymond and Eugene, and husbands Joseph Bethia and Paul Kruger. Survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Rita and James McDonald, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.Lucille was a graduate of South Division High School and the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1929. She and Joseph Bethia ran several businesses during their 52-year marriage. After his death, she volunteered at the Jewish Home and assisted patients in two nursing homes. Her second marriage to Paul Kruger lasted ten years, during which time she took care of him at home and later at Clement Manor, until he died. She spent the last six years of her life at St. Camillus, where she was grateful for the good care she received. Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home on Monday, April 30, at 11:00 AM until time of Service at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Camillus Foundation would be appreciated.
