October 8, 1928 – December 3, 2021

Died peacefully on December 3, 2021 at the age of 93. Loving mother of Alison (Jimmy) Kleser. Loving grandmother of Rachel Kleser and Jeremy (Claudia) Kleser. Great-grandmother of Benjamin and Nicholas Gaskell and Ava and Rowen Crawford. Also survived by her sister Lorraine Scheidt, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband Eugene “Gene” Bredl, her parents, and 3 brothers, Robert “Bob” Scheidt, George Scheidt, and Donald “Don” Scheidt.

Lucille enjoyed life. She was enjoyable to be around, had a fun personality, and a great sense of humor. She was kind and generous. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and did crafts of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and her special friends Russ and his family, Jean and Irene.

A very special thank you to Dr. Eric Maas and his assistant Judy for their kindness and exceptional care that they gave to my mother. Dr. Maas always made her feel better. Also, a special thank you to Keyanna Wells from the Aurora Hospice team for her loving personality and care that she gave to Lucille. Lucille truly appreciated everyone involved in her care.

Most exceptionally was her dear and loving sister Lorraine, who took such good care of her, was always at her side, and was with her right up to the end.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of My Great Aunt Lucille. She and my Aunt Loraine used to visit our family in Port Washington all the time. Lucille had the sweetest smile and gave the best hugs! She will hold a special place in my heart! ❤️

My heart goes out to her family…. My Great Aunt Lucille always had a smile to light up any room, she never judged anyone and just had this way of making everything seem ok. Every-time I would see her with Lorraine, the two of them gave the best hugs , laughter and joy…and I just want to keep them memories alive. She will be missed !! Hugs 🤗 may you Rest In Peace and be forever on our hearts

My Deepest Smypathy Aunt Lorraine and Alison and your Family. I have many Fond Memories of Aunt Lucille, like the time she told me a Swing Set would be delivered to our house and I wasn’t to tell anyone about it. When it arrived I didn’t tell my parents who sent it. My parents found out that Aunt Lucille sent it. Later Aunt Lucille told me I should have told my parents when it arrived. At least she knew I could keep a secret. My Siblings and I had lots of Fun Times on that Swing Set. Aunt Lucille will always be in my Heart and Memories. Lov, Linda
