Louise Ashley

(Nee Cockfield) Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by all of her children, on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, age 82. Beloved wife of the late John Henry Ashley. Devoted mother of Larry (Sheila) Ashley, Terry (Marnette) Ashley, John Ashley, Carl (Felita Daniels Ashley) Ashley, Joyce Ashley, Wayne (Montez) Ashley, Janice Ashley and Carol Ashley. Grandma of Kyle, Kori, David, Lauren, Natalle, Elise and Zoe. Great-grandma of Mesiyah. Also loved by her "sixth son" Herman (Sheila) Strozler and dear friends, Matt Millen, Judy McKinsey and Millie Vitous. Sister-in-law of Eddie Pritchard. Further survived by the parents of her grandchildren Kimberly Thomas and Charles Holley. Preceded in death by her sister, Johnnie Mae Pritchard and her parents, David and Rosie Cockfield. She was loved and will be missed by nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Visitation at ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4051 N. 25th Street, Milwaukee, on Monday, September 27, 11:00 AM-12:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM, with Bishop Joesph N. Perry, Father Bryan Massingale and Father Carl E. Diedrichs officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
