Lotte E. Rohr

(Nee Heimsoth) Passed away peacefully on November 22, 2009, at the age of 101. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerhard Jr. (Louise) and her grandson, Peter Mildenburg. She is survived by her children Klaus (Angela) Rohr and Christel (the late Erich) Mildenburg, grandchildren Dante (Christine) Rohr, Karl (Erica) Rohr, Christopher (Flavia) Mildenburg and Alexander (Corinn) Mildenburg, and 7 great-grandchildren plus 2 on the way. Lotte was married to Gerhard Rohr, who preceded her in death in 2006. She was born in Hamburg, Germany, and immigrated to the US with her family in 1950, settling in Milwaukee. Lotte had a passionate lifelong interest in classical music, particularly opera. In Germany, she sang with the Hamburg State Opera Company followed by various musical appearances in the US. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11AM, at Eastcastle Place, Lindsey Hall, 2505 E. Bradford Ave. Milwaukee, WI.
