Lorraine “Labrini” G. Mente

(Nee Giourta) Died peacefully, entering into eternal life on Saturday, February 24, 2018, age 82. Rejoined her beloved husband, George A. Mente. Loving mother of George Mente, Ernie (Debbie) Paulos, Rose Paulos and George (Laurie) Paulos. Yiayia of 19 and great yiayia of 11. First cousin of Danny (Maria) Goumenos. Sister-in-law of William (Helen) Mente. Also loved by cousins, other relatives, both here and in Greece and friends.

Visitation at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2160 North Wauwatosa Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53213, Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 9:00-1030 AM. Service 1030 AM. Burial Pinelawn.

She was a very thoughtful, loving and giving person who loved children and her flowers. Her backyard was like the domes, flowers everywhere, all around the house. Lorraine touched many lives. She was always cooking and baking and sharing with others. She would always help others and was admired by many. She was a devoted mother. She will be deeply missed, by Rose who also considered her mom as her best friend. She will be dearly missed by her cat, Cocoa. She loved animals, especially horses, eagles and the American flag.
