Lorene McCullough (nee Steele) found eternal peace on the 31st day of, March, 2016 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Wayne E. McCullough. Loving mother of Sharon McCullough and Shelley (Scott) Sather. Devoted grandmother of Mary (Dave) Collins and Mike (Amber) Trowbridge. Dear great-grandmother of Lexi, Ben, Bella, TJ, Olivia, and Xander. Further survived by many relatives and friends. A private memorial will be held at Krause Funeral Home, New Berlin, WI.
Lorene ran a hobby ceramic business for 25 years, teaching others to create floral masterpieces. She wrote two books to share her techniques. After retiring from ceramics, Lorene touched the lives of hundreds of people as a compassionate counselor, teacher and prayer warrior! She shared her understanding of God's healing grace with people worldwide through Transformed Life in Christ Ministries.
We celebrate her life and know she is thrilled to be with her Savior in Heaven. Her final message to family and friends: "I'll see you later."
She came alone and You gave her love
She came fearfully and You gave her peace
She came broken and in pain and You gave her healing
She came empty and searching and You gave her answers
She came silently and You gave her a message
She came quietly and You gave her a song
All You gave her she shared and Because she did, we live anew
She came to the end and You gave her a mansion!
