Lorena A. Casebier

(nee Harrison) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at age 98, reunited with her beloved husbands Loran and Seth. Dearest sister of Elizabeth "Betty" Specht. Cherished aunt of Laura (Mathew) Szebeni, Diane Salzmann, Bryan (Rachael) Specht and Steve (Carol) Miller. Proud great-aunt of Lindsey Szebeni. She will be missed by additional family and friends.
Lorena was a teacher and then a college professor for 42 years in North Dakota, Wisconsin, California, Colorado, Nevada and Oregon. She touched many hearts with her dedication to reading education.
The family would like to thank the staff at Kirkland Crossings, especially Amy Jo and Maryanne.
Gathering will be at Redeemer United Church of Christ, W220 N4915 Town Line Rd, Sussex, on Saturday, February 20, from 10am-12pm. Memorial Service at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to Presbyterian Homes or to the church.
