Linda S. Manns

Linda Manns was born September 19, 1949 to the union of the late Carmett H. Powell and Marie Powell in Bogalusa, LA. She was the oldest of five children. She received a formal education in Milwaukee, WI. She was employed with Milwaukee Transit System where she later retired. She accepted Christ at an early age. Linda Manns was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Sammie L. Manns. The union was blessed with eight children. She was proceeded in death by her sisters Connie Martin, Josephine Walker and Henri Young.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Sammie L. Manns, Ripley, TN, one daughter Chandra(Darren) Crawford, Milwaukee, WI, one son Christopher (Syrita) Powell, five step daughters; Michelle Manns, Cheryl Manns, Renee Manns, and Venus Manns all of Milwaukee, WI, Rosemary Manns, Phoenix, AZ, one step son Darren (Gina) Manns of Milwaukee, WI, one sister, Judy Powell, two brothers, Steve Powell of Milwaukee, WI, and Ronald Powell of Minnesota, four grandchildren; Brandi Powell, Darren (Karica) Crawford Jr, Markela Banks, Raeshawn Crawford and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday July 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon.  Burial at Graceland Cemetery to follow.
