Passed peacefully on Christmas Day, 2009, at age 78. Beloved husband of Patricia J. Ellis (nee Schultz). Cherished father of the late Lerman Ellis, Jr., Karen (Edward) Graham and Cynthia (Ian) Bullock. Proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also loved by his brother, a host of nieces and nephews, other family and friends. Lerman was a former Executive Director of Big Step, Inc. Visitation at NORTHSIDE CHURCH OF GOD, 4858 N. 19th St., on Saturday, January 2, at 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service at 11AM. Entombment to follow at Graceland. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Joyce Meyer Ministries or LIFE Outreach International.
