Age 94. Beloved mother and true friend of LindaLou (Paul Stockinger) Hobmeier Stockinger. Went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 16, 2012. Preceded in death by husband Frederick. Will very sadly be missed by family and friends. Lived her Christian faith by example through her devotion to her family and by demonstrating compassion for others. Loving and dedicated caregiver to Fred during his many years in a nursing home. Took joy in the simple things in life. Showed great courage to cope with many serious health problems, accepting of what came her way.Connie had a successful career as a top-notch hair stylist for Charles of the Ritz salons. She was a gifted artist and an accomplished decorator who took pride in restoring furniture outcasts, transforming them into beautiful furnishings. Also survived by sisters; Penny Haas and Lois (Jerry) Sorum, nephews, nieces, their families and loving friends. Special thanks to the caring staff at Oak Hill Terrance, Dr. Timothy Jest and Dr. Mark Carey.
