The ride is over, but a new journey begins. Found peace on January 23, 2009, at the age of 46, after a 2 1/2 year courageous battle with T-cell lymphoma. Devoted husband and best friend of Corrine of 15 years. Best dad to his "buddy" Jarod. Caring son of Elaine and the late Walter Klaus. Cherished brother of Sheryll (Bruce) Wallen, Kristine (Michael) Tilley and Curtis Klaus. Dear brother-in-law of John, Gary, Lee and Kathleen Steffens. Adored and loved by his nieces, nephews, and many dear friends and other relatives. Dear nephew of Hazel "Pat" (the late Frank) Powell, the late Addine (the late Harold) Heins and the late Frankie Sims. Kenny was a loyal employee of the City of Milwaukee for 24 years in DPW-OPS Fleet Services. He was always a giver, not a taker. Always the protector for his family and friends. Even during his illness, he wanted to protect the ones he loved. Also, Kenny was great with his hands, loved his cars, but most of all, loved his jeep. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hari and Dr. Russell, and the caring staff at Froedtert Hospital. Memorials appreciated to the Jarod Klaus Educational Fund. Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, January 27, 4:00-8:00 PM. A time to share memories starts at 6:00 PM. Funeral Service at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3722 South 58th Street, Wednesday January 28, 11:00 AM. Entombment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. We truly miss you, Kenny!
