Judith Carmen Loth (Judy) entered peacefully into eternal life on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the age of 86 years.
Loving sister to her brother Douglas Loth and his wife Darlene. Awesome aunt to James Loth, Carrie (Brian) Kalata, and Jeffrey (Rosemary) Loth. Special great aunt to Margaret (Calvin) Czajka, Amanda (Kenzo) Webster, and Christopher Loth. Adoring great-great aunt to Jackson Czajka. Special friend of Lillian Pegg. Preceded in death by her parents Elmore and Gertrude Loth.
Judy grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and graduated from Wauwatosa High School in 1954. She loved her years attending Valparaiso University and the friendships she made while a member of Alpha Phi Delta Sorority. She graduated from Valpo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1958. Judy then enjoyed a long career at AC Delco in Oak Creek before taking early retirement in 1992.
Judy was incredibly organized, intelligent and independent. She loved to read, particularly mysteries. She enjoyed card games, crossword puzzles, Sudoku, Wordle, Bingo, puzzle making, watching sports, movies, and dinners out with family and friends having good conversations and laughs. In the fall, she would regularly follow the Packers and Badger football. Judy was incredibly generous and charitable. She had a great sense of humor, a memorable and distinctive laugh, and a beautiful smile. She loved her family deeply and took amazing care of her parents as they aged. Judy was known to always pick out the perfect Birthday or greeting cards for her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A special thank you to her neighbor, Bonnie Sawyer, who assisted the family in providing care for Judy during the later period of her life, and for the amazing and compassionate care provided by the staff of Horizon Home Hospice and the Aurora Zilber Inpatient Hospice, where Judy ultimately passed peacefully.
In accordance with Judy’s wishes, there will be no funeral service, though the immediate family will gather for a dinner at one of Judy’s favorite restaurants to share treasured memories.
May God bless Judy and watch over her.
