Joyce Churchill (nee Jentzen) went home to be with the Lord on October 23, 2022 at age 97. She joins her husband, Edwin of 71 years. Precious mother of Cindy (Kurt) Weimer. Dear grandma of Tara (Leo) Salgado. Adoring great-grandma of Aidan Salgado. Beloved sister of Shirley Kaisler. Also loved and will be missed by other family and friends.
Joyce was a woman of many passions. She loved to cook and bake, always having food ready for family. She enjoyed sewing, making many of her own outfits, as well as clothing for her daughter Cindy. She was a member of the Model A Ford Club along with her husband Edwin and was a charter member of the former Northwest Milwaukee Women’s Club, starting in 1965.
Joyce was a fun-loving woman who won a country music contest, playing her guitar and singing on the radio in Milwaukee back in the early 1940s as “Montana Lou.”
Joyce loved ice cream and hearts, but most important to her was her family.
