Hello Joe's family : ) I met Joe at the Homes of Ethnos 360, as a volunteer. I truly enjoyed this sweet man. It was always a blessing just to look over and see him. He was one of my favorites ! I will miss him! Thank you so much for giving the information on his funeral so I could watch it. It was very nice, truly.

My condolences to the Engel’s family. Mr. Engels was my mentor at the Seminole County Detention Center as well as the mentor for the detainees and other staff for many years. He was a very positive and inspirational person. He is surely going to be missed.

Michelle M. Engel left a message on April 29, 2024:
Grandpa Engel, Dad, Joe, and Great Grandpa Engel, was a kind and gentle man. He would do anything for anybody. He was like a Father to me for 37+ years. He loved Jesus with all his heart. He worked at a detention center as a volunteer in Florida. He mentored a young man named, Luke, for many years. He tried to treat Luke as a son. Unfortunately, they have lost touch. He was involved in printing as a trade. He went to New Tribes Mission headquarters as a printing press man. He helped get a three colored press. Eventually, it was more cost effective to sell that press and farm out the Christian literature. He was proud to show Joe and I the New Ethnos 360 Headquarters on our last visit to Sanford, FL. He was planning to enter assisted living with his best buddies, (Dwayne Staus) spelling? but the LORD JESUS had a different plan. He worked on New Tribes grounds for years and years and loved that. He was planting flowers and mulching just a few weeks ago. He wants to thank Don Seiling, his best friend, for all his help since 2016. He almost passed so many times...Covid, Mac Virus, Defibulator installation and other scares. I hope all the Florida people will get the LIVE STREAM on the service on May 6...around 3:45-6:45 pm. OUR TIME!!! Any one coming to Wisconsin this is a brand new huge Funeral home. It is NOT the same funeral home that Mark Engel was in. It is more toward PEWAUKEE/BROOKFIELD/Waukesha area. Please google map it. Love, Michelle Gulan-Engel for the family. 262-334-4828 with questions. Hope you can come don S.
