Joseph A. Maziasz, Sr.

Age 89, of Paso Robles, California, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Phillips, Wisconsin, the son of Mary (nee Lach) and Walenty Maziasz. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Maziasz (nee Ramskugler); daughter, Nancy (Michael Rey) Maziasz; sister, Helen (Glen) Cork; and brother, John (Nancy) Maziasz. He is survived by daughter, Sandra Walker; son, Joseph (Mary) Maziasz, Jr.; grandson, Christopher Walker; sister, Ann (Ralph) Lendowski; and brother, Anton Lizak.Joe worked for thirty years as a union organizer with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He and Leona resided at times in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Silver Spring, Maryland; Deming, New Mexico; and Paso Robles, California.A gathering will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 9 from 11:00 AM"Noon.
