Jonathan D. Gerds

"Jon" Passed away unexpectedly the morning of October 23, 2015 at the age of 42. He was born May 14, 1973 in Milwaukee to Raymond and the late Carol Gerds. He is survived by his soulmate and companion of 19 years, Heather Schneider. He is further survived by his other "parental unit" Beverly Gerds married to his father for 27 years. Also Heather's parents, Dave and Mary Schneider. Sister, Susan (David) Schultz of Appleton, brother Steven (Sharon) of Greenfield. Heather's sister Missy (Scott) Kaufmann and their children, Rob and Leah all of Dousman. Along with nephews and niece, Tim Martin of Appleton, Valerie Gerds of Oshkosh and Tyler Gerds of Greenfield. Jon and Heather spent countless hours with their four legged companions: Paige, Ali and Dria. Paige is a therapy dog and Ali and Dria are actively involved in a dog sport called Flyball. Jon was an employee of Quad/Graphics Inc for 25 years, starting out as a co-op student his senior year in high school; his first job was punching plates and eventually working his way to a Senior Software Engineer.

Visitation at the Krause Funeral Home, Wednesday, October 28, 5-6:45PM. Funeral service at 7PM. Private burial.
