Preceded in death by his brother Jake Strizic, Jr. and his sister Theresa Sheriffs.Visitation at the St. Rita's Catholic Church, 2318 S. 61st St., Thursday, December 17, 2009, 10 AM – 12 Noon. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon. Family only entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.John was born on Juneau Farm in West Allis. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. Member of St. Rita's Catholic CHurch. Member of WI Policeman's Professional Assoc., and St. Jude's. Retired in 1976 as a Captain of the West Allis Police Department after 30 years of service. John was an avid golfer and bowler.
