John M. Sherman

Brookfield – John M. Sherman, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 5:55PM at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1945, in Milwaukee and is the son of Erwin and Celeste (nee Terril) Sherman (both deceased). John was married to his sweetheart and love of his life, Margaret (nee Richard) Sherman for 52 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Margaret are his sons, Anthony (Tracy) Sherman of Pewaukee, and Christopher (fiancée Angela Schulz) Sherman of Milwaukee; grandchildren Chloe Sherman, Kailey Sherman, Ashlynn Sherman, Marli Sherman and Maxwell Sherman; and sisters Celwynn Conell, Karen (Lou) Klimczak, and Danielle (Herb) Stuesse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

John was a devout husband and a proud father and grandfather. He loved his Savior, Jesus and was not afraid to share his faith with everyone. John loved to tell constant jokes. He loved his country to the fullest and was the most selfless human being and was a true servant.

Visitation will be held at Krause Funeral Home located at 21600 W. Capitol Drive in Brookfield on Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.  John’s Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00PM.
