Age 89, joined his beloved wife Bil on November 7, 2010 with his loving family at his side. He will always be remembered by his daughter Kip (Lee) DeForest of Gurnee, IL and Julie (Dennis) Abramczyk of New Berlin, WI; his grandsons Jason, Ben (Angela), Aaron, (Lynda) and granddaughters Kelly and Jennifer (Tono). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, his brother Edward (Mary) and sister Molly. John was a Lt. Col. in the Army Air Corps, and piloted a B24 Liberator Bomber in the South Pacific during WWII. John loved to play golf, share a joke, and drink "brown mumblers". He will be missed by his family and many friends. A Family Memorial will be held this summer. Special heartfelt thank yous to the staff at the VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, for the tender, caring way they looked after our father.
