Cherished youngest brother of Anthony (Marilyn), Francis (Carol), the late Joseph (Marlene), the late Mary Ann (the late Jim) Litscher, Charles (Laura), Michael (Judith), Mary Agnes (Walter) Suchalla, Mary Therese (Dirk) Wichgers, the late Mary Claire (Duane and new wife Barb) Mlachnik, and Mary Rose (Jan) Van Dulm. Uncle John "U.J." is survived by 53 nieces and nephews, 127 great-nieces and nephews and 6 great-great nieces and nephews. He was loved and will be missed by many other realatives and countless friends including "best friend" Brian Puestow. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Meleski. Visitation at the Funeral Home Tuesday, July 15, 4-7 PM. Vigil service at 7PM. Visitation at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 1200 St. Gadriel Way, Hubertus Wednesday at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass at 11AM. Burial at St. Hubert's Cemetery. Johnny was the owner/operator of Johnny Manhattan's Steak House in Hubertus. Prior to this, he was the owner of Uncle John's in West Allis and DJ's Goal Post in Milwaukee. John's gift was his enjoyment of all those he met. He will be remembered for the love of God and his country, devotion to family and friends. For this is a journey that we all must take and each must go alone; its all a part of the Master's plan a step on the road to home. Miss me but let me go.
