JOHN CARL EIFFLER, age 56, passed away at his home in Milwaukee Wisconsin on January 10, 2021.
John graduated from UW Milwaukee in 1988 with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Theater Technician Production in 1988. He also attended MATC Milwaukee studying Computer Networking and Tech Support. After college he spent three summer seasons at the CAPE PLAYHOUSE THEATER in Dennis, Maine working as a scenic carpenter. He made several life-long friends while there who he still keeps in contact with.
John loved the theater and worked behind the scenes at several local theaters over the next few years. He worked at Milwaukee Museum in the children’s hands-on area making sure all exhibits were in proper working order.
John loved music, loved photography, he was always the family historian, he loved intelligent conversation and a good debate. He loved to laugh, enjoyed being outdoors and camping with friends. He said he prefers a campfire to a cocktail party eight out of ten times. He enjoyed golfing with friends and family, college sports, and Packers and Brewers games. He was a great brother, son, uncle, and friend. Family was very important. He cared for his aging mother prior to her passing away. He loved to watch August’s meteor showers and lastly, he loved a sky full of stars.
The youngest of seven siblings, he is survived by brother-in-law, Dave Walden, brother Fred (Florance) Eiffler, sister Jeanne (Gerald) Snyder, sister Patricia Wroblewski, sister Susan (Robert) Wood, and brother Dennis (Sharon) Eiffler. He had a special place in his heart for nieces and nephews; Jason (Angie) Eiffler, Anthony and Adam Eiffler, Clair (Rick) Read, Kristin (Elizabeth) Wroblewski, Rachel Wroblewski, Christopher, Alison and Nathan Wood, Stephanie, Stephen and Catherine Eiffler.
He is preceded in death by Parents Fred and Louise (nee Nedbal) Eiffler, sister Edith (Edie) Walden and brother-in-law Dean Wroblewski.
A special mention goes out to his many friends and “Zoom” friends with a very special thank you to his caring friend Amy for following through on her instincts.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10:40 AM, with a Celebration of Life from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM and a luncheon reception from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM at the Elks Lodge, 5555 Good Hope Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
