So sorry to hear about your mom. She was just as much as a mom and a grandma to my kids. She will be sadly missed. She’s with her creator.

We were sad to hear of the passing of our good friend Joan. We go back to the Beaver Dam days and remember having such good times of having Joan in our home. She is one of a kind. When Heavenly Father created Joan he threw the mold away and said there will be another like this one. We know she is in a better place and as one of our sons said "driving a green station wagon across heaven". (An inside story for our family). We send our condolences and our love. Rich and Janet, Sue, Julie, Debbie, Nathan, Jared, Ben and Richie.

Dear Joan, This is your YOUR SON'S wife Paula, writing to you one last time. Thank you for being a great and caring mother in law who was so gifted in all areas of domestic housekeeping and the love you had for your friends, family and others. All anyone had to do was mention a project they were doing and if they were having a problem with it you were always willing to try and help figure it out. When I met you for the first time, I was relieved you were so warm and caring. You excepted me and Tiffany into your heart immediately. Your house trailer always smelled of the best homebaked foods and especially the smell of pies , cookies and your latest recipe passed on to you by others with love. Your love of helping others I soon found out was also how you made a living (self-employed) at that time. House, pet and babysitting, sewing and much more. I was very impressed when I learned of and saw the beautiful curtains you had made for one of your employers.) I admired you for all of your talents, love and care you put into anything you did for people. You immediately became family to all you helped. Your sense of humor will not be forgotten; like when me and Ronnie had our first daughter Kenlyn. When I told you the unique name we had picked out for her, you questioned back- Kindling wood? I'll never forget that! And then we had our daughter Morgan who you never quite understood , but you were still crazy Grandma Joan to her (with love.)❤ .To all other family members I am so sorry for your loss, but heaven sure will smell alot better once she gets cooking!!! Joan , I will never forget you and will miss you tremendously. Oh, and thank You, Harvey and God for creating the most wonderful friend and husband a girl could ever want! LOVE from your daughter-in-law, Paula. .
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
