Joan M. Clarke

Of Watertown. Was reunited with her husband on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at Watertown Regional Medical Center.

Joan was born October 9, 1933, to Arthur and Elsie (nee Girard) Noel in Marinette, WI. In her teenage years, she moved to Milwaukee and was a graduate of Mercy High School. On May 9, 1959, she was united in marriage to Robert D. Clarke. She was a longtime employee and retiree of the Milwaukee Public School System.

Joan is survived by her two daughters, Isabelle (Abel) Clarke Garibaldi and Nancy (Donald) Clarke-Aehl; 2 grandchildren, Kathryn (John) Ivy and Andrew (Lauren) Schmidt; 2 great-grandchildren; Rhys and Bennett Ivy; and brother Richard (Sandra) Noel. Also survived by Abel Michael Garibaldi, his children Anna and Hugo and Brian (Kathryn) Garibaldi and their children Everly and Nova. Beloved goddaughter Denise Shannon, and nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings: Irving (Josephine), Earl (Betty), Arthur (Betty), Raymond (Betty), Donald (Charmise), and Delores (Anthony).

Visitation at Forest Home Cemetery Chapel, 2405 West Forest Home Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Service at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow.
