“JJ” entered Eternal Life on December 9, 2024, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Carver) for 51 years. Loving father of Andrew, Jessica Pearson (Randall) and Sarah (Carlos Gaytan). Cherished Paw Paw of Carver and Draven Johnson, Aidan, Gavin, Brook and Max Pearson, and Daisy and Carly Gaytan. Born on November 11, 1947 to the late Delbert and Mildred (nee Hintz), he was raised in Wisconsin Rapids. He is survived by brother Alan (Mary Jo) and sisters Gail and Lois (Robert Wells).

JJ earned his Bachelor of Science at UW-Stout and Masters at UConn. He would work as an executive at GE Healthcare for 20 years, Gammex and Florence Eisemen before purchasing a nurse call systems company called Cornell. JJ grew Cornell Technologies to be the premier emergency response systems manufacturer and developer.

With his company being in Milwaukee, JJ and Barb raised their kids in Wauwatosa. They would then move to enjoy lake life in Pewaukee before purchasing a condo in Oconomowoc. In recent years, they were snowbirds and JJ would also consider himself a Sarasota Floridian.
He loved live music, especially country. JJ also was an avid fisherman, WI sports fan, puzzler, poker player and traveler. He belonged to Lake Country Rotary of Heartland and Sarasota Rotary.
