My condolences to the Hogan family. Mr Hogan made a big impact on me at Kosciusko Jr High School in 1982. He always encouraged me to work hard as a student and athlete. He also encouraged me to attend Milwaukee Hamilton High School to play basketball.
Well, I followed friends to Juneau High School for 1 year before I transferred to Hamiltion my sophmore year in 1985. Jeff did not know I transferred. I played varsity basketball and my name was in the local paper and Jeff must have saw it. I was stretching before the game and Jeff came out on the floor and smiled at me. He said: " I am glad you came to Hamiltion." I last saw Jeff in 2012 when I paid a visit to Hamiltion. I have completed my formal education, have a small business, etc. Jeff played a role in shaping my character and my success in life. I was very blessed to have known Jeff.
To the Family of Coach Hogan, I am sorry I could not come to the visitation Thursday due to a prior commitment.
My Husband Dan Curley was Summer Ball Manager of the Team that went to State and barely made it back into town in time for their graduation ceremony after taking 3rd place. My Son Chad was Short Stop and sometimes pitched. He also was lead off hitter.
Dan passed away in Nov. of 2014 at the age of 67 during a stent setting procedure. I know the emotions you are going thru and just wanted to say I will be thinking of you and hoping you have close friends and family to help you each day.
Sincerely,
Carol Curley

I remember back in the North Prairie Land 'O Lakes days. Jeff was the best high pitch fastball hitter I've ever seen! We called the swing "The Tomahawk!" Thanks for the memories, my fiend. It was always a pleasure!
Rest in God's peace.
My condolences. Jeff was always friendly and gracious. May God comfort you with His love and peace over the next few weeks, months, and years.
Heartfelt condolences to Coach Hogan's loving family, friends, and the countless number of individuals he positively influenced throughout his life. Teaching and coaching is a vocation of love, and everyone he interacted with could feel his passion. Such an amazing man who gave everything he had to everyone. Hold on tight to the wonderful memories his legacy created.
Jeff was a wonderful man! Full of enthusiasm at every turn! Enjoyable to be around and to talk with! Full of life and love for his family and friends! Jeff will truly be missed by so many! God took him home way too soon!
The first time I met coach he was out walking Wilson I'm the neighborhood. I was an annoying kid I know it. But he always took the time to hang and talk with me. At one point tried to recruit me for the Wilson Park team. Had no idea at the time that he would be my gym teacher in highschool. That's when he talked me into baseball. I appreciate everything he did for me. And he will be missed dearly by many. Rest in peace coach. Long live #14.

I was very saddened to hear of Jeff’s passing. I worked with Jeff at Kozy and his positive leadership made a huge impression on me. He touched the lives of so many children. The environment could be very challenging, but Jeff continued being his light and upbeat self.
My heart goes out to his family and loved ones <3
Not many times I looked forward to class in high school but going to Hogans class was one I enjoyed. Coach was tough but fair. He left an impact on my life and so many others. My thoughts are with the Hogan family. I still have my jersey as I am sure many others do.

A great coach and even better person. My condolences to the entire Hogan family. So sorry.....
As a fellow MPS Phy Ed/Health teacher and coach, I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jeff for a great many years. We played basketball and softball together for many years. Jeff is a highly respected teacher and coach and I was blessed to have him as a friend and teammate. Skilled and valued as an athlete even into his senior years, Jeff was an even better person, always kind and caring. My sincere condolences to all his family and to his many friends, teammates and colleagues. Rest peacefully, Jeff ! You will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered.
My deepest condolences to the family <3 I worked with him at Hamilton. He was a great person, teacher, friend and a coach. I am battling cancer myself, so his death hit me more than others. May he rest in peace <3
I worked with Jeff at Hamilton - what a great guy!
My deepest condolences to the Hogan family. During the time that Jeff played for and later coached the Hamilton nine, I grew to admire and respect him as one of the truly "good" guys in the game. My Pulaski Rams and his Wildcats played dozens of hard-fought games during those years, but Jeff was always a gracious winner and never a sour loser. His teams were a reflection of his leadership always exhibiting sportsmanship and humility. He will be missed. Requiescat in Pace.
Jeff was a positive force in his life.
Kind, caring and a heck of a coach. I worked with Jeff many years at Hamilton. I will always remember that beautiful smile.
Condolences to his family
Just had my last game with him as my favorite umpire last summer. Condolences
He was the best coach I ever had, and played for. I was Absolutely grateful for the opportunity to play for him. He made me a better person and he definitely made me a better baseball player. There's No words to describe what Coach Hogan said to me and what he did for me during my high school years. I'm absolutely grateful and will remember the special time when we went to State my Senior year. And I was also lucky enough to be one of his Assistant coaches after I Graduated. RIP Coach Hogan 🙏 You will definitely be missed Anderson #20
