Jean Alexander

Jean Alexander (nee Schraufnagel) passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 15, 2024 at age 80 in Oconomowoc, WI. Loving wife of the late Ernie Alexander for 50 years. Proud Mom of Keith (Sandy), Doug (Cindy), David (Sara) and Nicole (Steve) Wurster. Loving Grammy to Brianna, MaKayla (Aaron) Splan, Brad, Grace, Nathan, Nick, Alex, and Elizabeth. She is further survived by her sister Nanci (James), brother Richard (Patricia) and Linda (Dale).

Preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Grace (Murphy) Schraufnagel, her sister Cindy and brothers Robert and James.

Jean was a woman of love, joy and faith, whose warmth touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. One of her joys in life was the time she spent with her beloved husband, creating cherished memories together, whether it was working together at Visu-Sewer, wintering in Florida, traveling the world or watching sunsets together at their condo.

Her heart knew no greater joy than the love she had for her grandchildren. They were the light of her life, she loved to take them to lunch or the movies and had every Disney movie for them to watch when they were kids. Jean also enjoyed being part of her high school “Club”, Golf and Knitting Club, getting together with many of her friends and Friday Fish Fry with her Siblings.

Visitation on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church (313 Circle Dr. Hartland, WI 53029). Mass of Christian Burial to follow.
