Jane Kathleen Rohrer

Jane Kathleen (Lindenlaub) Rohrer, 71, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Greenfield on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Jane was born in Milwaukee on October 31, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Erna (nee Friedrich) Lindenlaub, with whom Jane shared a special and enduring bond.

Graduating from Greenfield High School in 1967, Jane went on to earn her nursing degree while working at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. During her long nursing career, she also served at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Complex and then as a hospice nurse at VITAS Healthcare. Prior to retirement, Jane was employed by Horizon Home Care and Hospice. Jane loved being a nurse, and her kind and empathetic nature was a blessing to her patients and their families.

Jane was an avid gardener and enjoyed socializing with her friends. She was actively involved in her community’s parties, game nights and choir group.

Jane is lovingly remembered by her son Jim Agnew of Shanghai, China (formerly of Grafton, WI), her daughter Kim (Seth) Ferguson of Foxborough, MA, her daughter Dawn (Marrio) Murrell of Oak Creek, WI, and her brother Gary (Geri) Lindenlaub of Waukesha, WI.

Jane cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and they were the pride of her life. Her spirit will live on within them. She was the beloved grandmother of Evan, Claire, Eleanore, and Erna Agnew; Luke, Jake and Will Ferguson; and Loren & Simone Murrell.

A visitation for Jane will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin beginning at 10:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
