Janalynn L. Kuehl, 76, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Loving wife of the late John Kuehl. Loving sister of the late John Wille. Loving mother of Josh (Kathleen) Kuehl and Peter (Robin) Kuehl. Loving grammy of Chandler, Russel, Ethan and Isabelle.
Preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Lucille (nee Graack) Wille. Janalynn was born February 5th, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI. She was a professional hairdresser until the birth of her first son when she became the most dedicated housewife her family could ask for.
Janalynn not only devoted herself to her family in the home but outside of it as well, volunteering and being involved with the community through church, Scouts, numerous activities her sons were involved in and as a nurse via the Red Cross at the family elementary school.
Janalynn loved the outdoors and was an avid camper. Her love and respect for nature was paralleled only by her passion for being the family historian keeping the memories and lives of past generations alive through photographs and stories. Janalynn was a devout Lutheran believing strongly in her faith yet never questioning someone else’s. She was selfless and caring, always helping anyone who needed it no matter if family, friend or stranger. Janalynn cared for numerous family members at the end of their lives when they needed someone the most and did so without question. This also included her and her husband John’s beloved cat Buddy who was her companion, confidant and roommate after John
had passed.
Janalynn was the most loving, selfless, dedicated, loyal and empathetic human being God ever saw fit to put on this earth. She is now at peace with all her loved ones in heaven, an angel,
watching over those still left here on earth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated in Janalynn’s remembrance to St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Wauwatosa or Elmbrook Humane Society, Inc.,
