My last memory of you was your tall, lean, straight form as you stood on the driveway one beautiful fall day. May this tree grow in honor your memory.

Dave left a message on October 6, 2024:
Uncle Jim was an ideal godfather to me. He always had a way of expressing care and compassion in situations where I didn't know it was needed, and it made me feel safe and protected. I think these are eternal feelings. Then there are the lighter memories: the Astrovan trips to the Northwoods for deer hunting, my first Swiss army knife (gifted for my 12th birthday, which I still have today!), and construction tips on "the fort" in the woods Up North. You are loved by so many, Uncle Jim, and live forever in our memories!
