Born to Eternal Life on August 23, 2023, at age 92. Loving and devoted  husband to Margaret Mary (nee Litzau) for 72 years. Caring father to James (Carol), John, Michael (Ann), Joseph (Susan), Mary Beth (Bruce) Wezyk, and Christopher (Deborah) Schroeder. Proud grandfather of Aaron, James, Jessica, Michael, Joshua, Phillip, Alissa, Catherine, Michael Jr., and Joseph; and 7 great-grandchildren. Loving brother to Edith McCarthy and the late Larry (Pat) Schroeder. Also survived by nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Jim was a passionate wood craftsman and an avid marathon runner. He was a Korean War veteran, and member of American Legion Post #449. He retired from Harnischfeger Corp. after 46 years of service.

Visitation at Mother of Perpetual Help, 2322 S. 106th St., West Allis, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 9:30AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00AM. Procession to Holy Apostles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Mother of Perpetual Help Parish or St. Ben’s Community Meal.
