Caring son-in-law of Scheble and Anne Lubus, and brother-in-law of David, Thomas (Deanna), Stephen, Mark (LeeAnn) of Huntington, Indiana, and Christopher Lubus, and Eva (Monty) Shelton of San Angelo, Texas. Doting Grandpa "Papa" of Brooke (Todd) Bates, Rick Marteney, Ty and Maxx Zarling, Ally Marteney, and Luke and Collin Bertschinger. Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield; Thursday, February 25th, 2016 from 4-7PM, with a time of sharing at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Parish, 2506 North Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa on Friday, February 26th, at 10 AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
Jim retired from the Milwaukee Police Department in 1998 after 35 years of proud service to the community. He enjoyed travelling, especially his trips to Arizona to visit his daughters and their families. Gigi and Gina wanted everyone to know that Jim was a fantastic Father and an amazing "Papa."
