James Anthony Becker

Born to Eternal life on February 17, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Marie Becker, and his son James John ("J.J."). Loving husband of Christine (nee Lubus). Loving and devoted father of Gigi (Rick) Marteney and Gina Becker-Zarling of Phoenix, Arizona, and step-father of Tammi Lubus and Christopher (Victoria) Bertschinger. He maintained a fond relationship with his former son-in-law, John Zarling. Devoted brother of Sandra (Ronald) Greaser of Sussex, and Renault (Bonny) Becker of Sylvania, Ohio. Caring son-in-law of Scheble and Anne Lubus, and brother-in-law of David, Thomas (Deanna), Stephen, Mark (LeeAnn) of Huntington, Indiana, and Christopher Lubus, and Eva (Monty) Shelton of San Angelo, Texas. Doting Grandpa "Papa" of Brooke (Todd) Bates, Rick Marteney, Ty and Maxx Zarling, Ally Marteney, and Luke and Collin Bertschinger. Dear Uncle of Jim Greaser, Edwin (Yun) and Toni Becker, Donna Collett, Matthew, Andrew, Elizabeth, Jeremy, Sara, Daniel (Crystal) and Dean (Jacki) Lubus, Jamie (Mark) Meyer, Stephanie (Greg) Savini and Nick Bartholomeo. Dear Cousin of Diane (Mujo) Alijev and Maureen (Pat) Lacey. Long-time friend of William Guy. Further survived by many other friends, neighbors, and former co-workers.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield; Thursday, February 25th, 2016 from 4-7PM, with a time of sharing at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Parish, 2506 North Wauwatosa Avenue, Wauwatosa on Friday, February 26th, at 10 AM. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.

Jim retired from the Milwaukee Police Department in 1998 after 35 years of proud service to the community. He enjoyed travelling, especially his trips to Arizona to visit his daughters and their families. Gigi and Gina wanted everyone to know that Jim was a fantastic Father and an amazing "Papa."
