James A. Christensen

Lost his battle with M.D.S. and passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the age of 83. He was surrounded by his loving family. Survived by the love of his life, De Lone, his children Cindy (Todd Weir), Dana (Julie) and Wendy. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren (his mules) Dana, Britt and D. J. Other special family and friends include his sister Ruth and her family, Mike, Nelson, Garry, Russ and Kathy, Kathy S. and many more dear friends, family and geezers (you know who you are).Jim had a true love of life. He enjoyed a fulfilling career as a general contractor, he loved golf, cards, fishing, rafting, canoeing and mostly being silly.In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name are appreciated to the oncology department at St. Luke's or the Aurora Hospice V.N.A. Thank you for everything.Gathering in the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 3:00 to 5:45 PM.
